Mr Price Foundation

With some of the highest rates of poverty, inequality and unemployment in the world, Mr Price Foundation helps young people unlock their true potential in South Africa by developing youth from underserved South African communities. As an NPO and youth development organisation, the aim is to see youth succeed in their lifelong learning journey from school to employment. For over a decade, Mr Price Foundation has partnered with industry leaders and communities to tackle youth unemployment and access to quality education.

The Challenge

The dynamic and capable team at Mr Price Foundation needed a partner to support them in handling high-level strategy and marketing planning. They were in need of realignment and directional marketing.

The Solution

Our starting point is always to get the team together for a DNA Vision Workshop, which forms the basis of all our goals, strategies and communications. Our approach to building long-term partnerships is to ensure our annual planning is cemented with the client. We worked hard on strategies for the year ahead to map out each quarter with Mr Price Foundation, and continue to meet every week with the clients for strategy, approvals and measures. 

Because of this, we are clear on our targets, goals and measures for success. All projects are born out of a clear set of goals in support of our Mr Price Foundation KPIs. To formulate a clear strategy, we worked backwards from the 5-year targets and mapped out each step needed.

Stakeholder Awareness Scores will help feedback on the effectiveness of all communication. We run ongoing reports on Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) metric scores, which allow our communication messages to follow a clear strategic path through clarified KPIs and goals.
